Testimonials

"This was my first real attempt at astrophotography. I was amazed at the quality and composition of the photos taken on my first outing! Matt did a really great job working with my knowledge level and teaching me how to photograph the night sky. He chose a great location in the Outer Banks. We hope to be able to do more workshops with him in other areas of the country in the future."

"First off, this entire experience deserves 10 stars! (Pun intended) Matt is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, no matter what level of photography experience you have he explains in a way you can understand. He went above and beyond my expectations and we felt super comfortable the entire time, like if we've known him for a while. I even was able to capture the Milky Way with my iPhone after learning about how to adjust my settings as a bonus! From his kind demeanor, location choice, communicating weather updates, recommendations to local spots to everything we learned from him, Matt's your guy if you're looking for something truly unique! I bought this a gift for my boyfriend's birthday, since we both share a love for photography and now I can say, we have found something we can do together as a couple, and have gained a friend in the process. We highly recommend this class with Matt! Astrophotography is a magical thing! Thank you Matt for sharing a bit of your magic and your time with us."
